Change in the Managing Board of Vienna Insurance Group. Franz Fuchs leaves the VIG Managing Board as of 30 June 2020
Franz Fuchs (66) will resign from his position as member of the Managing Board of Vienna Insurance Group (Wiener Versicherung Gruppe) at the end of June 2020. He has worked in executive functions for the VIG Group for around 17 years, since October 2009 he has been a member of the VIG Managing Board. In recognition of his achievements, he was appointed Deputy General Manager in October 2019.
Franz Fuchs began his career in the insurance industry as an actuary 46 years ago. As a specialist for life insurance and pension funds, he held leading management positions in the international insurance industry before joining the VIG Group. Since joining the VIG Group in 2003, he has been primarily responsible for expanding the Polish market. He was appointed to the Managing Board of VIG Holding on 1 October 2009.

Franz Fuchs will maintain close ties with the VIG Group. He will continue to advise the Group and to exercise Supervisory Board mandates in VIG insurance companies.
